Madison Sigrist 2024 Queen

Northern Ohio Quarter Horse Association would like to welcome Madison Sigrist as our 2024 Northern Ohio Quarter Horse Queen.

Hello, my name is Madison Sigrist.  I am from Dundee, Ohio. I am a Sophomore at the University of Findlay, where I am double majoring in Animal Science and Equine Business Management. While at school, I ride on both the Western IHSA team and the English IHSA team for the University.

Aside from college, I show at AQHA events primarily competing in the all-around events. While I love showing all of the classes, my favorites would be the showmanship, equitation, and trail. My gelding, Snack Pack, would much rather show the lead line instead of my all-around classes, but he does a great job picking up whatever I throw at him.

When I am not at an AQHA show or at college, I am helping to run my family’s beef and grain farm. Because of this, I have a true love of agriculture and the people that keep farms running. While I am at school, I am hoping to specialize in meat sciences, and ultimately work towards rewarding farmers for exceptional products.

I am honored to be representing the Northern Ohio Quarter Horse Association and the 2024 Queen. I look forward to being able to represent the association at NOQHA shows and ultimately through the Congress Queen Competition. I would like to thank everyone for the opportunity to represent the organization that gave me a great foundation, and I cannot wait to meet all of you this show season.
